Xiaomi Mi Play Might Be A Gaming Phone With Mediatek Chipset.

We have been receiving constant rumours about Xiaomi Mi Play which is going to be a gaming phone from Xiaomi, the biggest concern in everybody’s mind was how this device will stack up in Xiaomi’s line-up because Xiaomi already owns BlackShark devices and they represent gaming from Xiaomi but some recent developments suggest that this device is going for a flagship Mediatek Chipset.

Last year we saw a slew of gaming phones and all of them had one thing in common they were based on Snapdragon’s flagship chipset Snapdragon 845 but this year we expect something like that from Mediatek as they are expected to bring their Helio P90 flagship chipset to the market and yes its the same chipset which Mi Play is expected to rock when its launched.

Some slides were leaked which give us an idea about what Xiaomi Mi Play has to offer, this shows us a device which has 6GBRam with 128GB internal storage however there maybe other variants as well with more ram and Storage. The thing which is interesting to note here is the battery which appears to be a mere 3000mAH, Xiaomi has always given huge batteries even for their low range device so this is something new also the size of the device is also small considering a device focused towards power users.

The pricing for china is 1699 Yuan which is roughly 35K in Pakistan without any tax. Now we have no news regarding this device launching Pakistan so this may be a China exclusive device after all.
