On Thursday, a flight steward of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) was off-loaded before the flight take off.
Ghulam Muhammad Chandio was found highly drunk after the medical team of Pakistan International airline took blood samples of all the Islamabad to Lahore flight staff.
PIA spokesperson said a departmental inquiry will be launched against the steward.
PIA staff’ involvement in drug-related issues has brought a bad name to the organization and to the country in the past.
Last year the national flag carrier (PIA)was ranked the third worst airline in the world, just behind Jordan’s Royal Jordanian Airlines and Iceland’s WOW Air.
